Developing Your Personal Style for Success:
Everyone has struggled with their looks; their image. What constitutes good looking? Wow! That is so subjective and it never ends well. So, let’s really get to what makes us attractive to others.
Defining a personal style is the sum of the parts of who we are to others. You need to understand all the elements that go into your own style in order to define it. Confidence, or self-esteem, is the most attractive element a person can have. You are the best you can be; so, own it. Intelligence is really appealing as long as it is balanced with humility. Presence and poise are equally important. Stand tall and look straight ahead, but smile and embrace the day. Take interest in the world around you, and it will take interest with you. Have a positive attitude and others will catch on to your vibe. Stay in control without taking control. Lead by example and be helpful. Dress in clothes that make you feel good; coordinate the colors and accessories so that you look the role you are playing. Wear Powerful suits for meetings, and whimsical clothing for fun time; be Hot when the night is Haute! Your personal style is the window décor for the world to see who you are inside. Oh, that is the biggest part of your personal style—know who you are and love yourself. If you don’t love yourself, no one else will.
